~ Can I use your antibacterial handsoap if I have very dry and chapped hands?
Yes, because of our Calendula Skin Healing/Nourishing Formula, and the nature of essential oils. Into every bottle of handsoap we add 2 tbls. of glycerin that has been infused with Calendula flowers in a warm bath for 10 hours. Calendula reduces inflammation, promotes wound healing and is used as an antiseptic. Some essential oils, Lavender for example, have been shown in scientific studies to regenerate skin tissue. So, if you are in a profession where you have to wash your hands often, you will find our antibacterial soap to be the answer to dry, chapped hands.
~ What do you have for chronic skin conditions such as, psoriasis, eczema, acne and dryness?
Aside from a daily diet high in omega 3s and successful coping with stress, we recommend massage with our therapeutic massage oils, and daily use of our soap – always begin healing the skin with the type of soap you are using. These steps will improve circulation, hydrate the skin and reduce stress.
~ About 95% of health & beauty aids claim to be “natural” but on the list of ingredients there are numerous chemicals. How are Wild & Pure products different?
Our products are truly free of harsh chemicals. If you can’t pronounce it or don’t know what it is, you probably shouldn’t eat it or put in on your skin. Wild & Pure believes that nature provides a bountiful reserve of safe ingredients that can be used in body care products to contribute to a positive and genuinely natural lifestyle.
~ I am highly sensitive to fragrances which often give me a headache. DO the essential oils and extracts you use have the same effect?
Please see The Benefits of Aromatherapy for a detailed explanation for the difference between synthetic fragrance oils and aromas from essential oils. As for our natural food extracts, we call them our “Fun Flavors” because it is difficult to scientifically document their effects, but they are always more pleasant than the 200 or so chemicals that go into commercially made fragrance oils.
~ Do you have products for children and pets?
Yes, both. Our Baby Oil is a delicate infusion of Lavender or Chamomile flowers in olive oil – no essential oils added. Our PetEssence is specially formulated to deodorize (not a shampoo) AND deal with flea and tick issues.
~ What is your recommendation for facial care?
Begin by applying our Lavender or Chamomile Make-up Remover overnight for excellent hydration before cleansing the next day. Cleanse your face with Peppermint Face Cleanser or you can exfoliate a couple of days per week with Lavender Face Scrub. Next, choose from Lavender or Geranium as your toner. Finally, try our Anti-Aging Geranium Face Cream or Anti-Acne Lavender Face Cream.
